He loves all aspects of acro and enjoys the challenge of working with different partners. As a teacher, Kiran believes in building a strong and safe foundation. He loves breaking down skills and developing movement vocabulary enabling individuals to be self sufficient.
****Maria Gawlik & Julian Waglewski****
Maria is an aerials teacher. For last 4 years she’s been teaching aerial silks for kids and adults. Besides silks which are her favourite, she know also trapeze, aerial hoop and vertical dance. When she is not training or teaching, Maria is performing on various kind of events or festivals.
Julian is circus artist with an acrobatic speciality on the prop named German Wheel. He started from the parkour then quickly discovered juggling and fire dancing. He is still strongly connected with the juggling community. He has a large experience in performing and also teaching extraordinary skills.
He tried icarian games for the first time about year ago and quickly found them really interesting.
Together, they discovered a passion for icarian games and standing acrobatic. Searching for the space when they can develop new skills, they got to know the acroyoga community which turned out to be a great complement to the trainings. Maria and Julian are lovers of dynamic elements that require a lot of teamwork and trust. Currently, they are working on combining the above disciplines in order to create something suitable for them and unique.
***Alfonso Cazenave/ Karuna Bodywork ***
Since he first started with Swedish massage in 2007, Alfonso Cazenave has taken innumerable courses in both Western and Eastern forms of bodywork. In 2013 he discovered Thai massage and immediately fell in love with it. Ever since, he has studied with world-class teachers like Pichest Boonthumme (Thailand), Takis Oikonomou (Greece), David Lutt (France) and Till Heeg (Germany), among many others. In 2014 he left his job as a language teacher to fully devote himself to bodywork. In 2016 he began assisting his teachers at the prestigious schools Sunshine Network (Thailand), Sunshine House (Greece / Germany) and Lulyani (France) and conducting his own courses in various European countries.
When he is not studying or teaching abroad, he lives and works in Warsaw (Poland). He calls his style “contemporary Thai massage”: a unique blend of static-dynamic Thai massage, Osteothai®, Wuo Tai® and craniosacral therapy. He believes that bodywork can be pleasant and effective at the same time. Quality of touch is his trademark.
Alfonso has been a teacher in several different subjects (first music, then languages, now bodywork and yoga) for over 20 years. As a teacher he is passionate and committed, honest, generous, precise, charismatic, approachable and fun. He enjoys sharing mindful touch.
Bound with movement since childhood. Seven years experience in the acrobatic and dance team, athletics, nine-year yoga practice instilled a constant need for physical activity, and taught to find joy in it. Certified AcroYoga International level 2 teacher. Develops his body awareness also through contemporary dance, contact improvisation, physical dance, GAGA, animal flow. The ability to combine acrobatic experiences with yoga and dance fascinated him absolutely. Delighted by the moment in which the lines of many forms of movement have the opportunity to meet. In Krakow conducts regular AcroYoga classes at all levels. Organizer of jams, workshops, artistic projects, international events. Invited as a teacher to international AcroYoga, yoga and dance festivals, conventions and conferences.
“I am a open-minded person with a lot of ideas, energy and happiness which I love to share with people. My passion is all kind of movement that creates a sense of freedom, reaches our deepest nature and brings people closer to each other. I trully belive that the conscious touch and movement has a tremendous power to heal the body, psyche and soul. I gain my experience from the best teachers from all over the world. Now I share it by conducting regular AcroYoga classes, working with Thai massage, organizing workshops and events in Europe and Latin America.
Joanna and Tomasz met on a AcroYoga boat cruise on the Croatian islands in 2015. Since then, they have been friends discovering the secrets of Acro together. They leave together for conventions, workshops and festivals. They also run workshops with AcroYoga – “Acro Elements”, Familly AcroYoga and Therapeutic Flying & Thai Massage, creating a very well-coordinated and calibrated acro collective;)
