For many of the more challenging poses (and perhaps washing machines as well) it is not recommended to jump into learning it.
A better way to do it is step by step, sometimes doing similar but easier poses (e.g. you better do reverse star before one-limb reverse star) and sometimes training on parts with different exercises (e.g. a head stand practice for balancing in straddle).
I really miss the opportunity to share knowledge about such stuff in the site, what do you think?
(I also miss it now that I want to practice “super-free” shoulder stand and it is quite a jump from the free shoulder stand)
