DRINK THE WILD AIR RETREAT – acroyoga, slackline, climbing

Join us for the third Drink the Wild Air retreat in collaboration with the JogaLine. This time, we will explore what the unique Karst region has to offer us . For a few days we will disconnect from the everyday and focus on collaboration, exploration, playfulness, mastering new skills, enjoying the beauty of the moment, discovering tastes of the wilderness ….

Open air playground in a beautiful surrounding of Karst region, invites you to three awesome days of acroyoga, slackline, climbing and much, much more. All of the three activities bringing together playing with balance, communication, promotes trust between each other and to yourself and offers endless fun. Besides that we prepared a very interesting excursion to get familiar and learn to identify wild edible plants, which are found in abundance and are rich in nutritions. A true superfoods!

The Karst plateau is famous for its caves, vineyards, landscape and architecture. It is especially attractive in the springtime when everything is blooming.

We will be staying in an over 400 years old homestead that is protected cultural monument. Although renovated to a comfortable standard the hostel boasts authentic Karst architecture, a genuine rural aesthetic and a beautiful closed yard planted with herbs, fruit trees and lavender.
The location is only 15 minutes from international airport in Trieste and 1 hour from Venice airports.

This retreat is for you if:

•you are practicing acroyoga for at least 4 months*
•you are interested how slackline training can help you to upgrade your physical and mental skills
•climbing is your lifestyle or you want to learn more about how to move vertical
•you enjoy being in nature and explore different balancing activities

* If we receive at least 6 applications from those without experiences we will also organize beginners acroyoga workshops.

10.00 SlackAsana workshop (yoga on slackline)

* If we receive at least 6 applications from those without experiences we will also organize beginners acroyoga workshops (price for a single workshop is 20€)

PRICE:

150€ for late birds after 1. March
20€ single workshop

Your registration will be confirmed after we receive 30€ for non-refundable deposit.

The price does not include:

•transportation
•food during the day

Hostel offers a fully equipped kitchen, where you can prepare your meals. You can also use a barbeque area complete with grill, preparation area, ample seating and beautiful panoramic views of the unspoilt Karst landscape. You can also have authentic Karst cuisine delivered to the hostel.
For extra charge we can organise you a transportation from the airport.

ABOUT ORGANIZERS

Eva Brovinsky:
Eva is a dedicated and attentive acroyoga teacher as well as certified YogaSlackers teacher. Through years of teaching experiences and with utmost patience, she will always serve you clear and precise instructions. In classes and workshops she emphasizes cooperation and effective technique that gives you confidence and strong foundations to continue you balance practice (acroyoga, slackline yoga…)

Jan Valentincic:
Jan is an avid climber and awsome slackliner. He masters all kind of poses on slackline, where length and height are not an issue. For him climbing is a way to move and rock is a natural environment. Physical abilities that he developed through climbing, and slacklining gave him a broader understanding of balance and body movement. Ever new and more challenging situations are strengthening his mental potential. Bringing all together he will give you right amount of coaching tips as well as psychological insights.

Vanja Eržen:
Vanja is a certified sport climbing instuctor. Her life always revolves around climbing, both in her free time, as in business. She is engaged in climbing from an early age and she gave a lot of time to the climbing education and training of young people. In recent years, however, yoga has turned her life “upside down” as well. Enthusiasm and precision, as well as hard work and passion does not exclude, but are her recipe for success.
